FICTIONAL AGENCY · CONCEPT ARTWORK
The Agency
Dunham & Dunham Investigations is the fictional agency at the heart of The Inquest’s Northern Colorado flagship world. Its cases range from bootlegging disputes and bank robberies to vanished artifacts, archaeological discoveries, and circumstances that resist a conventional explanation.
The Dunhams are a married couple whose work depends on trust, judgment, and a willingness to change their minds. Capable, affectionate, occasionally reckless — but never careless with the evidence.
Not every strange case is supernatural. Not every ordinary case stays ordinary.

Private investigatorMr. Dunham
Fieldwork, mechanics, and practical improvisation — with a healthy respect for the archive.
Comfortable with difficult terrain and stubborn machinery. He favors practical solutions without dismissing the value of patient research. These are inclinations, not boundaries.
Private investigatorMrs. Dunham
Research, languages, artifacts, and social intuition — with no reluctance to take the field.
A careful reader of both documents and people. Her work often begins with research, but rarely ends at a desk. These are inclinations, not boundaries.
